Intern / Working student (m/w/d) 

We are looking for an Intern / Working Student (m/f/d) to join our investment team in central Munich on a 5-day or 2-day per week basis, respectively.

As an Intern or Working Student you will play an integral role. Reporting directly to our Analysts and Investment Associates, you will be involved in various critical aspects of our operations, from deal origination and due diligence to supporting portfolio management and investor relations.

Responsibilities

  • Market Analysis: In-depth research on the cardiovascular MedTech landscape, including
    emerging trends, start-ups and technologies to identify investment opportunities
  • Deal Flow Management: Tracking and reporting on deal flow from our investment team
  • Due Diligence Support: Assistance in technical, clinical, commercial, regulatory and
    reimbursement evaluations of potential fund investments
  • Company Valuation: Support in valuing early and development-stage companies using
    techniques like DCF, precedent transactions, and scenario analysis
  • Clinical Trial Interpretation: Analysis and presentation of clinical trial results to the senior
    investment team
  • Investor Relations and Fund Administration: Assistance in day-to-day VC operations,
    including fund administration and investor reporting

Skills & Qualification

  • Education: A top Masters or PhD student in (Biomedical-) Engineering, Life Sciences or a
    Finance / Economics related degree
  • Experience: Prior internship experience in Healthcare roles within Venture Capital, Private
    Equity, Investment Banking, Management Consulting, or Business Development
  • Drive: Intellectual curiosity, strong work ethic and an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Aspiration: Ambition for a long-term career in the medical technology investment sector
  • Communication: Proficient verbal and written skills, with expertise in MS PowerPoint
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in financial modelling and forecasting with MS Excel
  • Languages: Full professional proficiency in German and English
